METAPRO PRO 12 is an ultra-high intensity hiit workout that’s only 12 mins long for experienced Metafit clients.
MetaPRO PRO 12 is basically the next level of Metafit, it is higher intensity, focuses on explosive exercises, has less rest and is much shorter.
Because it’s shorter and much tougher it has a much more effective EPOC (which means your after burn is longer).
You are meant to struggle with this and if you have to stop then you know you’re doing it right. MetaPRO shouldn’t be 100% completed by anyone (including us instructors) if you’re doing it at your MAX. Everything should be burning, your legs should feel like lead, your heart should be pumping and you should be gasping for oxygen.
Facts:
MetaPRO should by 90+ % of your maximum level and as there is very limited recovery, you should feel muscle and oxygen depletion throughout the workout (you shouldn’t feel like you’ve had adequate rest before the next exercise).
The EPOC effect of MetaPRO is proven to be twice that of Metafit due to its sheer intensity even though it’s less work time.
Metafit HQ has chosen the toughest power exercises for this programme and there’s a reason for it. Of course, if it doesn’t feel right, you stop and regress.
